Congrats to any BYU grads!

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

Congrats to any BYU grads!

Congratulations to all the BYU grads who made it through their time at the University.

Times are changing.

Serious question -- Don't the BYU grads have something called an "ecclesiastical recommendation" or "ecclesiastical endorsement" which has to be signed off by a male university official before the grad is allowed to have a copy of the diploma and their transcripts?
We used to have a poster here who was having difficulty getting a copy of his grade transcripts because the university was holding them up due to an issue like this.- Wndr.

In the Reddit comments I found where it said She actually received her diploma in December and was just walking, according to her sister.

So they probably can’t withhold anything other than her eternal salvation.

LOL. Holland will redouble his anti-LGBTQ efforts after this. Perhaps even cancel future BYU graduations.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

Or maybe not let students walk if they've already received their diploma.

She is just so incredibly courageous. It takes a lot of guts to do that. Wouldn't be surprised if she is getting death threats as a consequence of Holland's call to arms.

Noticed on a pro-LDS message board that they were talking about this flashing of rainbow colors as an act of treason to the LDS Church. I suppose faithful Mormons feel compelled to think in such a fashion and affirm the same hatreds as their religious "Authorities".
