Re: NOMference Special Session
There are lots of possible explanations for the earth's existence, each one of them is equally as improbable as "God did it."
-10 for referring to his atheist friend as "my atheist friend." That just feels icky. I wouldn't want to be friends with someone who puts me down in public just to make himself look better.

Something I notice about these invitations as related by GA's. They are nearly always invitations given to strangers on planes or other public places. They rarely tell of bringing their friends. The people they share the gospel with are safe; there's no risk of losing a friendship when giving a BoM to a stranger. Yet, the members are given guilt trips for not annoying their friends on a constant basis.

Actually, they are kept from the Mormon truth by Google.

-50 for throwing all other religions under the bus. A**hole.
This is just smug, smarmy, and slimy. And it's not gonna keep my kids (born 2002, 2005, and 2008) from leaving the church.

Yes, and they refer to them as "my non member friends." What a gross and reductive way to view people.MoPag wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 6:22 pmThis is so true!!! Re: NOMference Special Session
In what way is a vision of God a message of "Be patient"?
Re: NOMference Special Session
One comment on Brad Wilcox’s talk… he said that boy needed to “stop hating himself and start loving Jesus”. What he should have said is “stop hating himself and start loving HIMSELF!” The message is still that he’s a horrible kid, just now he knows he’s horrible but the church (Jesus) is the only thing that will help/save him. Fnck Brad Wilcox.
I hate the Mormon church.

The church has engineered your eternal family into a commodity that can be purchased with an annual fee. The fact that full tithing payment is a requirement for saving ordinances is the biggest red flag imaginable. Hagoth
