Dude, Jeffery!!! Jesus spent his ministry loving and serving and listening to marginalized groups. You can't just call for unity from your place of extreme privilege and then turn around and say be like Jesus. What is wrong with you?!?!?

Where does Holland get to say that the young man didn't follow Jesus' advice. The scripture says,
"21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions."

Maybe he went away sorrowful because there were possessions that he was gong to find it hard to sell...his grandfathers chair or his mothers wedding ring. It says he went away sorrowful not that he went away disobedient.
