I may have just seen a heavenly visitor??

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

I may have just seen a heavenly visitor??

Post by Red Ryder »

Aunt and uncle are in town visiting.

Just crossed paths with Uncle walking down the dark hallway in his garments trying to find the bathroom.

I can’t unsee it....

What advice can you give me to clear my mental anguish?

Sing a hymn?
Say a prayer?
Read the scriptures?

Why me?

You must fill you mind with beautiful images to drive out the searing pain of your uncle. Only one solution: go look at porn.

Try to picture him naked without garments and it may help get the image of garments out of your mind.

Have you been praying in the woods?

Is the Uncle's name Moroni?

Or was it Nephi?

Any enlightening messages?

Any buried treasure revealed?

Please, please, please don't say Mr. Visitor mentioned anything about polygamy.

This is the best response and I'm laughing because it's true!

Have some coffee-flavored ice cream. It won't erase your memory but it will taste yummy.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

Whatever you do, do NOT gouge your own eyes out! Even if you've seen something beautiful since then, your mind will always recall garment-gate as the reason for your blindness. You'll never be able to let it go or see anything else to replace it.

Hold on. You clearly forgot to test his status by shaking hands with him. I'm sure that an elderly man clad in only temple garments and his birthday suit would happily want to shake your hand walking down the hallway.
