Kind of a vanilla talk but not bad. +5.

Again, if church was really like this, it would be a lot easier.

His talk is Christ centered. And is positive and about kindness, but it lacks interest. Maybe it is the sleepy conference voice. This talk would be better to read than listen to. +10

Two Christ centered talks in a row? This is unheard of.

As someone with YSA living with him, +50 for what he's saying.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, "Tabernacle Choir At Temple Square" is a terrible name.

And why do they have to say "the choir will now favor us with..." ? They can't just say "sing" ? It's like when it rains and we thank God for "moisture."

Eyring is batting clean up, I'll be giving this one a pass. Even my oh so righteous DH understands that Hal's lip smacking is a genuine problem for me.

I never know what to do with an Eyring talk. It sounds profound, but then when you really listen hes not saying anything.

For real. I was hoping he'd get into specific examples because I don't think simply stating that will end up making many waves.

Lol! I was just thinking the same thing! This is a nothing burger. Like listening to your senile grandfather go on about some random memory from September 1931.

As a fellow sufferer of misophonia I feel you. My ward has a BP counselor that does that and they ask him to conduct every. single. Sunday.

That is what I was thinking. Well, that and I was thinking that living within a few feet of my in law would not be idyllic, it would be hell.
