The purpose of an online troll is to cause arguments and chaos. The fact that you call Trump "Papa Troll," tells me that you, Trump, and many other Trumpians don't believe in any truth. You believe in arguing for the sake of creating chaos. This happens on the left and right side. Like my, before mentioned, brother, he'll go to one site and Trump it up to get a stir. At another site, he'll Biden it up to get a stir. You come here to get a stir. The fact that I respond is a win for you. This would all be laughable if it weren't for so many people eating it up as truth. Thankfully, more people in the country have shown that enough is enough.SaidNobody wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:01 pm

Re: Keeping up with Trump
I know conspiracy theories are more exciting than boring realities, but please consider the following.
Presidents win or lose by small margins. You don't need a grand conspiracy to explain what happened in this election. It's simple and straight forward.
In 2016 a lot of people were voting against Hillary Clinton. Even so, she won the popular vote. You don't need polls to tell you that many people who voted for Trump in 2016 regretted it after he took office. In the meantime his dyed-in-the-wool base didn't grow. Many of the people I know who voted for him have told me they regretted their decision and decided to vote for Biden. And that's all it takes, a small percentage to change their minds. Not as fun as a conspiracy, but it rings true, doesn't it?
In 2020 only devout Trump loyalists were shocked that he lost. The only surprise to the pollsters and statisticians was that he didn't lose by a much wider margin. Trumpers are all up in arms that it looked like Trump was winning in some states and then suddenly Biden caught up and passed him. That's gotta be foul play! Again, that was not a surprise to anyone else and it's exactly what everyone had been predicting for months. Why? Trump Democrats are less suspicious of evil-doing and tend to vote by mail so he railed against the safety of mail-in voting and motivated his supporters to vote in person to give him the appearance of an even bigger early lead. He know that most jurisdictions count the mail-ins after the walk-ins. Things went exactly as predicted. Again, only people taking their marching orders from Trump were surprised.
But the proof is in the pudding. Wild claims of fraud and injustice are just that unless they are supported by evidence. Despite the Trump team's claims of mountains of evidence it has now been revealed over and over and over again that it is all rumor and hot air.
I know this will make you angry, but I say it because I care. Please try stepping away from the complex conspiracy theories and consider the simple realities. Then spread the gospel.

Well I don't know exactly how that would have played in. I know that when JFK was shot that Lyndon B Johnson I believe was back in Washington DC. So I don't know who pulled the trigger and to me that is less important than who Masterminded the plan.moksha wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 1:01 amTrump said President Kennedy was assassinated by Ted Cruz's dad Rafael Cruz. So when Trump says that Ted Cruz's dad did it that doesn't exactly go against my theory but I will admit that I don't know about that. I believe that it was a coordinated effort with CIA but I think that maybe you know Trump could afford better research than I can do.
One of the things that has actually surprised me is how interwoven all of these politicians are. Like I did not know that governor Gavin Newsom was Nancy pelosi's nephew. I didn't know until he was out of office that George Bush Senior had been the director of the CIA. I will admit I was a little surprised when George Bush Jr won the election. But given what I have been learning lately doesn't surprise me anymore.
Re: Keeping up with Trump
Research by Trump?!!! He could not even concentrate enough for his daily Presidental briefings, even when his staff tried dumbing them down. His pretend research on President Obama's birth certificate was completely made up. Nobody is certain as to whether Trump has ever read a book.I believe that it was a coordinated effort with CIA but I think that maybe you know Trump could afford better research than I can do.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

I am mildly hurt that you have such an opinion of me. While your definition of a troll is technically correct your opinion seems off. To think that myself and Trump have no interest in the truth is completely not base.hmb wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 6:11 amThe purpose of an online troll is to cause arguments and chaos. I never thought I was trolling you even though I am willing to admit I am a troll at heart. We call Trump papa troll.
If you might consider the general cultural belief system to be the calm where you think everything is okay, then yes I am here to stir up some crap. But it is not to get a rise. If you ever go on to my Facebook feed which I hope you don't because then you would be a stalker, you would see that the reactions to my posts are usually 1/10 of that of others. I am here to discuss the ideas. I am here to shake up belief systems. Just getting a reaction out of you unless it is to make you laugh or something like that gives me no pleasure. You will notice that I do take the time to sooth feelings that I seem to ruffle.
People like me call Trump the Papa Troll because he is challenging the status quo at the highest levels of government. Yes he says things to get reactions but it also exposes people for who they really are. That the mainstream media and the highest levels of government have come out with such a vengeance towards this guy is not natural. They're genuinely scared of him.
Having to write this post to reassure your feelings that I'm not here just to get a rise is also not something I always do for fun but I feel obligated to do. This is truth as well. in the hundreds of posts that I might write inside of a month or so maybe 10 are disrespectful to people and I always feel bad about those. I often go back and actually delete them. I am not perfect and do succumb to the feelings of frustration and agitation myself. But I think you can probably imagine how many times I get called an idiot or stupid or uneducated in a day. And while that might all be true what I am saying often strikes a nerve.
I am here also as therapeutic release to chit chat among people I almost consider friends.
I do actually have a Democrat troll account but I don't really use it. I go into it from time to time to see what the echo chamber says. I know that we react in a certain way to things on the internet that they send you more of the things you will like(d). So I get probably 10 emails a day from the Democratic campaign. Get some insight of their plans and their hopes and their dreams because I do want to know. I mentioned to someone that the only way to avoid confirmation bias was to have faith in neutral ideas. I believe in hearing both sides of the story. I believe in considering viewpoints from both sides of the story.
Of course, you will see that I have strong bias in my opinions. But even so it comes from hearing both sides of the story. I'm never afraid to ask someone why they believe the way they do. of course many of the stories get old (Trump cheated on his taxes) or they simply don't want to answer.
Generally it is things like Trump is a liar, trump is a cheat, Trump is narcissistic, ahh, now I forget the others. I admit though, and without shame, that if the source is things like CNN, MSNBC, New York times, etc, I keep looking for other sources. Sometimes I might Trust those sources if the articles go back 10 years or more. But a lot of those sites have actually scrubbed any mention of Donald Trump mixed with any concept of good. He actually used to be a very popular figure.
But when I asked for a specific detail and I research it I remain convinced that this is hate and not rational dislike.

Is it really hard to believe that a President who only beat a very unpopular Hillary Clinton narrowly (and not in the popular vote) could lose that slight lead to a less unlikeable Joe Biden after having botched a pandemic response by many voters’ opinion? My DH and I are life long registered Republicans. Never voted for Democrats before. I voted third party in 2016, but by 2020 voted for my first Democrat Joe Biden. I don’t support most Democrat policies. My DH voted for Trump in 2016 but couldn’t bring himself to vote blue in 2020 so he voted third party, still one less vote for Trump. We aren’t alone. I know how wildly popular Trump is, but surely you can acknowledge how wildly unpopular he also is. It’s not hard to believe enough people voted to elect Joe Biden. And I find it insulting that you suggest it’s the media who’s convinced me not to like Trump. The media and opposition parties have been viciously attacking our sitting Presidents as long as I can remember. I don’t like MSNBC and don’t take my cues from them or CNN. I try to watch sources from all sides, combined with regular fact checking. My DH won’t go near liberal media sources. I haven’t found Trump consistent with my expectations of a Republican President since the 2016 primary. This portrayal of him as the most attacked President ever just makes him sound weak and whiny.

See, this is exactly what I'm talking about. You saw Biden talking to some guys in Arab garb so you assume that's got to be some kind of shady deal. So you'll spread that rumor and other people will pick up on it and exaggerate it when they pass it on. Surely, everyone who looks like an Arab must be an evil prince and anyone who meets with them must be plotting some kind of corruption. That is just racist and paranoid thinking.SaidNobody wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 12:11 am Back in 2007 through a comedy of errors I ended up on the clubhouse floor at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington DC. I was sitting in the lobby listening to some rich arabs, one seemed like a prince, practicing my Arabic language skills. Suddenly Joe Biden came in and they began to talk about deals. It sounded pretty shady. And then when it got really shady Joe Biden invited them to go back to his room to finish the deal.
I called my wife and in Good humor told her about the corruption that I had just witnessed in Washington DC. why would a senator of Delaware be making deals with Richards at near 10:00 at night in a fancy hotel? If this was official state business this was not the right place for it. I have never trusted Joe Biden. There are many reasons why I don't. It isn't about his style however or his easy-going manner. It's that I have seen him do corruption and there is so much evidence of it on the TV and in the archives that it is scary.

This is a typical technique to disparage someone because you believe they are uneducated. Trump has beat out some of the most powerful institutions in the world that were trying to destroy him. If this was by a guy who never read a book, I would keep that really really quiet.moksha wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 8:01 amResearch by Trump?!!! Dozens of respected research firms have also come out with the opinion that Trump had about the birth certificate. There are other interesting phenomenons like Obama's name is on his children's birth certificate but Michelle's isn't. There is no name for the mother.

OK, I get it now, SN. You are a chaos junkie and the reason you are so in love with Trump is because he is such a drama queen who likes to stir up chaos. So much more entertaining than boring reality.

That is unfair and unkind. The Arabs weren't the ones committing corruption. Biden was. They probably don't have laws against buying foreign favors. I had nothing against the Arabs. I was listening because I had been in Egypt for several weeks working on the Library of Alexandria and was trying understand them.Hagoth wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 8:22 am See, this is exactly what I'm talking about. But hey, what the hell, let's call the dude racist and see if that shuts him up.
I'm with Trump. I don't blame people for taking advantage of us, Those that are supposed to guard the gates are selling access. Biden has been caught ready handed and they media is covering for. But the Ukraine thing, Hunter laptop, and Ritiz Carlton, are all being buried.
Speaking of buried, they say Biden fell and hurt his ankle tonight. That didn't take long to that ball rolling.

The harmful thing in all this is, that while slightly backtracking on an obvious lie, SN will advance two more Kelly Conway style lies. For those not in on the grifting methods of Donald Trump such lies might be believed.

Re: Keeping up with Trump
The harmful thing in all of this is that you think your opinion is so right that these other opinions are somehow a danger of being believed? That you set yourself up as some sort of judge and authority on what is actually true is the narcissistic tendency. I follow Kelly Ann Conway fairly closely. I listened to her story of when she walked into her former class and how they treated her as if she was some sort of cheat and devil. How she did what any campaign manager would do but because it was for Donald Trump it was evil.
A couple of people here have caught me in what might be considered a lie. It wasn't intentional but the information was provably false. But the basic answer to everything is that it is a lie.
Just so you know I don't trust any politician or journalist for that matter. They all lie. But even in the LIE there is truth. Such as why are they lying and what vision of things do they have that would justify it?
I intentionally leave out information when I speak sometimes as I do not want to overexpose someone or even my story. But I don't think I've ever intentionally lied about something. It doesn't mean that I think what I say is always true. It's just my story. And when you folks speak that's all it is to me, your are story. Your story is part of the truth no matter how twisted or perverted it is. You having a heartbeat makes you part of the reality of the truth. Even if you were dead you would still have part of the reality.
Oddly enough my father was strongly opposed to any of his children calling other people liars. Even if they were lying. It dehumanizes them and devalues their reality. I know that you people have a reality that you think is actually true and I'm going to bet $100 to somebody that you were wrong. That is the nature of reality, that no matter how you see it there are always other possibilities.

It seems that the FBI is beginning to get involved. of course we have been wondering where they have been but it seems that they are now gathering evidence.
