It occurs to me that what many members view as a wonderful life, is built upon the broken backs of others.
To enjoy the sanitized version of the family you must reject those who can not conform. You must diminish others in one form or another to maintain your belief.
To maintain your perfect mormon marriage, you must be willing to see others torn apart by disbelief of one spouse.
To enjoy your perfect mormon grandchildren, you must be willing see other grandparents shunned by their own children, for they realized to late in life they were mislead. The grandchildren are now protected from the grandparent.
To have your perfect mormon missionary experience you must be willing to destroy so many who can not conform and come home early. You must be willing to cause trama in others so you can rejoice that you finished.
To uplift yourself that you adhere to the WofW you must find those that do not suspect and of weaker constitutions.
For a religion to claim the one truth you must negate all other truths that do not conform, hence breaking those who may want to belong but are thrust out for non conformity
In your mormon world it all seems perfectly OK. But is it?

Broke Back Church

Not to mention potentially destroying other peoples' family relationships by converting them into an ideology that will result in them to shunning or be shunned by others, or will require them to uproot themselves from their native culture.1smartdodog wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 3:38 pm To have your perfect mormon missionary experience you must be willing to destroy so many who can not conform and come home early.
