Ex mo LGBQTI supportingNZ PM wins again

Post by no1saint »

Jacinda Ardern who is now an exmo, has won a thumping victory over the conservative centre right party. She is the ante thesis of a Utah Mormon.

Any discussions in the MorCor about a high profile exmo having such great success and admiration?

I think for the most part everyone wishes Prime Minister Aldern best wishes and great success. I imagine those Mormons driven solely by conservative ideology might bellyache, murmur, and perhaps stick pins in voodoo dolls. This would not apply to the LDS who fall into the decent and normal categories. They applaud the excellent job she has done.

For my part, I like seeing smart and honorable younger leaders like Aldern, Macron, and Trudeau. Wish the Democratic party in the US had nominated Pete Buttigieg so he could join those three in revitalizing world politics, especially in the post-Trump era when the truth standard needs to be reestablished.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.
