A Prayer for Sunday Conference Morning.

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

A Prayer for Sunday Conference Morning.

Post by Just This Guy »

Oh Gaia, the Eternal Mother, I ask thee in the name of thy cousin, Mr. Coffee, to bless and sanctify this pumpkin caramel latte with maple vanilla whipped cream and caramel drizzle that I drink for and in behalf of all the NOMies who would partake of it but cannot, because they are still Mormon, that it may enlighten their minds and invigorate their bodies, that they may always remember thou and that they may have thy spirits to be with them. Amen.

Bach's Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring played on Music and the Spoken Word was such a treat for the ears.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

Yes, I always like good music and MoTab ...excuse me “CATS” usually has something good.

Somehow the names CATS and Orchestra at T S , OATS just dont do it for me. I think renaming the MoTab is about the stupidest thing the church has ever done. You just don’t change the name after 180 or whatever years of success. But I still listen.

I thoroughly enjoyed this music also. LDS sourced music rarely competes with the towering classics. I am looking particularly critically at, "Follow the Prophet", "Praise to the Man", and "We Thank Thee O God for a Prophet".

I was thinking this morning and had trouble coming up with a good bread substitute. What is a normal food that people eat, but Mormons don't? Coffee cake? I could do chocolate covered coffee beans or coffee flavored ice cream, but those seam a bit limited, specialty items.

Any ideas? I'm having trouble with this one.
