That may be, but quotation marks and blocks have a standard meaning. They intended to indicate exact words or what someone said. None of that applies to what's going on here.
Not only that, but even if Smokey had quoted Hagoth properly, Hagoth would be proud to be LABELED an apostate if it separated him from those who are bigoted or hateful.
I would be willing to bet George Washington was willing to be labeled a traitor to the Crown if it put him on the side of justice, freedom, self-determination and the unalienable rights of man.
The reality however is that George wasn't a traitor and neither is Hagoth an apostate. They would only be labeled as such by men who mistakenly consider themselves to hold positions they are entitled to by God.
And that would be a God whom they have never met or conversed with in actuality. In reality they make law or doctrine that suits themselves and the status quo first and possibly, from time to time, helps others afterwards.
