This conference is turning out to a real disappointment. After all that hype and preparation it's just the same crap they push every conference. I hope Rusty has a some juicy announcements up his sleeve to salvage this pretty bland " historic" conference.

It really is sad for all those people who really think these guys are inspired. They are pitching the same old dribble whilr we are in the mist of a world-wide crisis and people are truly suffering. They are not even making any effort to comfort anyone. The lack of inspiration is striking.

I was at a friend's house watching conference 6 or 7 years ago and we raised our hands in his home to vote opposed. We figured angels and God were watching.

Wasn't it part of the old sandstone foundation story that BY wanted the foundation rebuilt on granite so that it would last until and through the milennium? I thought I remember being told that the foundation was explicitly revealed to survive earthquakes.

Soares: Joseph Smith love fest. I would have been horrified if I had invited a Christian friend to watch this with me and this was what they saw. I like how he pronounces Moroni - Moron E. Of course there is no archeaological evidence because Joseph made it all up.

McCune: +100 for admitting that there is no way to know the outcome. -20 for Brownnosing Rusty. -20 for not focusing on Christ. -20 for it being all about the church.
