This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

My last ward in the last few years have been only spiritual events, but I have fond memories of my older wards that did all the fun things I mentioned.
We had Polynesian dancers last year. It was great.
We had Polynesian dancers a couple years ago. It was uncomfortable. There we were, a bunch of people trained not to clap between movements of the symphony. There was the dancer who expected and appreciated crowd feedback in real time. I wish we did things like that more commonly so it would feel more normal.

A member of our ward was the president of the Tonga mission and was very respected by the dancers, so we just followed his lead and a good time was had by all.
