Woohoo! Stealth has returned. So good to hear from you.
I love the apology. Where was it published? Was it put before the church leadership in any way that we can have reason to believe that they saw it?
Hagoth!!! How the hell are ya!!!!
Great to see you and be back!!!
The apology was published on the Protect LDS Children website and announced publicly at the conclusion of Sam’s hunger strike.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes into my portfolio at the SCMC. There was only one currently serving branch president (in Estonia no less) that signed it. The rest were not sitting Bishops. Huge risk for a sitting bishop!

I'm not sure if they will come after me too (because my name is public) but if they do then I will use the awareness to bring light, as Sam did, to these sexually inappropriate and explicit one-on-one interviews that have damaged so many children and adults of our people.
It's good to be back in NOMland!!!!!
Hey man, good to have you back. Miss the old avatar though.
I doubt they'll come after you for just signing the letter, but I'm sure you have a file started somewhere.
So good to see you Oliver! I got the old avatar back!
Yeah, I’m concerned about the file. There could be other public stances I took in it. We’ll see what happens.

Hey Stealth - I spend most of my time on reddit these days (so I can openly swear and speak ill, of course). I also added my name to the Bishop's apology. I have to ask a question: are you a Texan? I ask because my wife and I were listening to Sam's friend read the Bishop's apology and one of the names on the list was an old boyfriend of hers. She reached out to him on Facebook and confirmed that it was the same person. On the online version of the list, my name and her old BF's name are listed next to each other for an additional coincidence.
My TBM brother doesn't realize the damage done by one on one bishop interviews. He still believes that's the only way to determine one's worthiness for a mission. I kind of turned it around on him and and told him the TSCC might gain more recruits if they weren't so stringent on "worthiness" and even eliminated certain questions. ALSO, I told TBM brother that not everyone is as lucky as he and I who were interviewed by our own dad. I guess being a somewhat decent kid helps also.
Wow. So glad to see Stealth back! One of the great posters from the previous NOM board!
I'm comfortable in where my faith transition is now, so I only log in here a couple of times a month just to check in. Was totally surprised - and happy! - to see Steath's introduction post. Happy to read through the thread and catch up with what is happening. Glad to hear that you are well Stealth. And welcome back!!!

Welcome back Stealth!
For the newbies, Stealth was one of the great posters on NOM back in the day.
Glad to see you back and hope your family is doing well!
Are you still actively attending?
RED RYDER!!!! So good to see you!
Yes, still attending. I teach GD and I like it because I can control the conversation for the most part! Still love my tribe even with all the dysfunction. I don't attend third hour. My ministering efforts are towards individuals who are suffering within the church as a whole and not with the mostly 99. So my ministering is below the radar which is just where stealth likes it!
Welcome back Stealth. I finally told my DW that starting next year I will no longer attend 3rd hour.

Hahahaha! Nice play!!!!! I was starting to have the gift of prophecy on this over the past few years myself!!! lol
I'm the villager I mentioned on the FB group. DW is there now. Surprising how far she has come this year. It's so messy with entangled families, community, etc... I would drop it all and become catholic or catholic mormon right now if I could. Alas the kids, the extended family, the neighbors.
Well see where it goes. It is nice having her mostly on the same page as me, even though heripet issues (polygamy and current social issues) are different than mine (doctrine and history).
