Bitter Vet

Post by rockslider »

Hey all!
I've been a long time player of the MMO Eve-Online. Long time players are often times referred to as 'Bitter Vets' because of their burn out and a touch of grumpiness.

I've been 'less active' (not been back) since around 2002 but have a very TBM wife and three TBM adult children who are busily indoctrinating seven grandchildren.

I posted occasionally on the old NOM and have posted pretty regularly on MDB (where I've become a bitter vet). I registered here when it first fired up but have not really posted here. Just wondering about checking out the local natives for a possible fit.

I read nearly all your posts over at MDB!

We've become a cynical bunch over here so you'll fit in fine. Bitterness and all!

This sounds like the perfect place for bitter vets.

Thanks!

I started poking around in the various topics. Doctrine appears safe for now. I assume it would be best for this Bitter $LDSInc vet to avoid giving advice in the other topics.

I say/question this based on a topic I think I'll start up in doctrine.
