Let us prepare for....General NOMference!!!!!

WOW!!! I can't believe it's been 6 months since we got to have NOMference fun!!

For those of you who aren't familiar with NOMference, let me explain.

NOMference is our way of taking back Conference. I know lots of you will be stuck watching with TBM family. So come on over to NOM and we will have some fun. We will have a live thread for each session where we can freely express our thoughts about what is being said. (within NOM rules of course)

You can also join in NOMference games. Here is how to play:
Each speaker starts with a score of 0.
You can take away points if you hear something you don't like.
You can give them points if you hear something you do like. We usually try to stick with n Hogwarts house points range so like 5, 10 and 20s. But if you feel the need to go crazy, go for it. General NOMfrence is for YOU!!!

I'm thinking about doing another game using 2BizEs thread over on the Discussion Board (if that's cool with him) We all made a lot of fun predictions. I was going to crown the person with most correct predictions: "Prophet, Seer and NOMerator."

GC can be rough for NOMs and postmos. And with everything else going on this one might be extra triggery. But let's ride this out together and have some fun while we're at it!

Great to see you doing this once again, MoPag. It's a lifesaver for those of us who can see what's really going on with these talks - keeping my critical thinking skills on the up and up. Unfortunately I'm not in a position this year to comment at all due to work commitments, and I will miss the real-time commentary with every fiber of my being. However, I will read all of your posts when I can and I will enjoy it thoroughly, as I do every year.

My FIL is a bishop and he is planning to spend Saturday afternoon with the grand kids touring some of the historic (non LDS) churchs in my area. Including one that was built on top of an old fort. There are tunnels that are part of that building that go back to the French & Indian war. I fully intend to help him in his avoidance of conference.

We have family coming to town this weekend, and I had a plan to get out of all Saturday sessions. But then one of the kids got sick and threw our whole schedule out the window.

Now, I'll likely be stuck watching every session and trying to sneak my way onto NOM.
