What are you drinking right now?
Re: What are you drinking right now?
I'm excited, I'm on my last bag of stockpiled pre-ground coffee. Once this is gone I'm gonna get myself a hand grinder and step up to grinding my own bean fresh. If I stick with it I'm eyeing French Presses to replace my Mr. Coffee when the time comes.

Moving on up, to the fresh side. To that deluxe coffee in the sky!

I've been indulging in a Tom Collins a couple of nights a week. Gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and club soda over crushed ice; it's kind of a sparkling lemonade with gin and it's delicious!

Shock Top at The Tilted Kilt in downtown PHX. It's the same vein as Hooters but with an Irish flare.
Late lunch with an hour to kill, so might as well.
Looking back on kife, I wish I experienced the " early 20's going to a bar to watch a game" scene

Oh man, don't go there!

Been to the tilted kilt. I've spent a great deal of time in bars hanging out with friends but not drinking. Only wish is that I had been less judgmental of those that were drinking while I was having Diet Coke's and spent more time just enjoying the company and the drinks while they were free (IT vendors will buy a lot of alcohol).

Bob-O-Link Brazilian origin coffee from a fancy coffee house with a little cream and no sugar.
I am still a coffee noob, but I have been getting better at drinking coffee without sugar.
Fresh roasted coffee is definitely better than k-cups and other quick methods. If you are interested in getting into coffee, but find it disgusting, try something a little fancier than Starbucks first. Less bitter and gross generally. I desire all to receive it.

Coffee no longer makes me sleepy (still doesn't wire me up, though). I guess my brain/body has figured it out.

Some homemade cold brew coffee, it is a nice change from the hot stuff during these warm summer months.

drinking in lots of info regarding the use of cannabis.
As you might know, the true north strong and free will allow all to receive without legal penalty, recreational rights to cannabis.
Visitors welcome. The party should start on October 17, unless some glitch in our parliament delays things again.
In the meantime, home made lime-aid using gin is a nice summer drink.

OK...... I'm intrigued.
Postum with whiskey? Might be ok, but for breakfast? Who says penguins aren't high flyers?
Recipe por favor.

I've been experimenting.
I like Dr.P. w/ coconut rum.
Mike's hard lemonade is decent.
Pinot grigio makes me gag.
How does one appreciate wine? Can someone tell me a good wine for beginners?

Wine has been a struggle for me too. My first glass of wine was in Japan and it was wonderful. But then the next 5 times were terrible and I hated it.Thoughtful wrote: ↑Thu Aug 09, 2018 9:30 pm I've been experimenting.

Try a nice dry white and see how that goes.
Or you could also go to a wine bar and try a flight of wines. A number of glasses with smaller amounts so that you can try them out before going full in.

I'm used to fermented foods too, kombucha, kefir, ants so on.
Maybe I do need a wine tasting.

I think several bottles of Ste. Chapelle Riesling vintage 32 AD were served at the Last Supper if that helps.Thoughtful wrote: ↑Thu Aug 09, 2018 9:30 pm How does one appreciate wine? Can someone tell me a good wine for beginners?
