I haven't checked in as much as I planned and I will be doing so more often now. I am hoping all of you are doing well and those of you who are still in the church are adjusting to new changes. I will always care about the people of the church. As a resigned member, I still go through bouts of holding on to those childhood memories...believing with hope..and goals. I have goals now of course..but in so much of what has been going on in the church and with their own different challenges..(Bishop/Medical Mary Jane)..I find myself in a pickle of regressed anger once again.
Those of you who are on the fence..or those of you who just have questions ..yet all in...tell me..you are okay..that you hold on to your own minds and always put family first.
Just a little hurt today.
Hugs..Margarita
Just A Big Hello!
Re: Just A Big Hello!
Hello back at you.
Thanks for your post. Resignation has been in my thoughts for the past while, and although it would be a step of closure for me personally, it would hurt my DW so for now I keep up a certain amount of Mormonism life.
I am interested in the idea of a resigned member such as yourself still feeling the anger about things in the church. I was hoping it would all evaporate once the letter was done. Sorry the struggle has to continue.
Once again thanks for your perspective.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing, there is a field. I'll meet you there.

Re: Just A Big Hello!
I miss you guys..there is lots to love about resignation..would do it again. It is the fact that you really want to DO something..and to watch the church get away with so many things..and be sort of a scum to TBM family and friends..creates an anger that starts all over again. I just have to remind myself the true reason or the anger. It is not what the church has done to me..but what they did and still do to the people I love. Be in touch everyone!!!
Re: Just A Big Hello!
You could always send in another resignation letter!
That would actually be funny if everyone sent in 25 resignation letters! It would be like voting for American Idol!

Re: Just A Big Hello!
Rather than send in additional resignation letters, it would be much more fun to start a program of resigning for the dead. My parents have been dead over a year now, so I should be able to send in a resignation for the dead letter. That way if my parents want out, they can accept the resignation, and if they wish to reject it, then no harm done. Right? That should not offend members, because that is how they make the dead members. But somehow, I think members would find that very offensive.
