Defamation Lawsuit

Post by 2bizE »

https://mormonleaks.io/newsroom/2018/05 ... on-church/

Mormon leaks recently released two depositions in a defamation lawsuit. I started reading the one for Randall Kent and found it quit entertaining. It had lies, deception, getting caught lying, etc.

i googled LdS Defamation and got some hits. I am not 100% sure, but this may be the lawsuit it is talking about.

Good luck with trying to depose an attorney from Kirton McConkie. Attorneys from that firm are required to take an oath of silence and give the penalty sign of disembowelment if they break this omerta oath. If the judge okaying the disposition is LDS, the attorneys have been instructed to give the proper handshake to the judge and recite the sacred words, "I will sleep with the fishes if necessary".
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

I see them at the bottom. They seemed to take a moment to load.

This thread makes me anticipate more from Radio Free Mormon and the dirt he continues to dig up. I also remember John Dehlin putting out a missive asking people who were abused by the LDS Church to contact him. I can't help but wonder if there will be an acceleration of law suits against the church.

I was convinced after reading The Destroying Angel book by Wild Bill Hickman that Brigham Young had blood on his hands, and from the lies since, I'm convinced there is NOTHING others in authority won't do.

Didn't work with Chrome but it did work with explorer. Hope Consiglieri can make an RFM podcast of the very first comment for that story. It could be a powerful podcast.

I keep waiting for reddit to weigh in on this..perhaps I've either missed the post. Why isn't this leak getting much attention?
