If I had a do-over it would be an Exmo or never mo for me.
However, I’m curious Mel about the women in Netherlands. Is it common for them to go to sacrament meeting only? Are the women usually open about sex and birth control. I would interpret her telling you about going on birth control as she is interested in you. Then again, this could be cultural.

I read it as his soon to be ex-wife was on birth control implying her intent with new lover was to be in a sexual relationship.2bizE wrote: ↑Tue May 01, 2018 11:50 am If I had a do-over it would be an Exmo or never mo for me.

ExDW agreed, and bought me some perfume and new shoes to spruce me up.
Last night we talked about the weekendplans and she said: Saturday I will be visiting my friend at his home for the first time, do you mind?

I probably wouldn't marry again at all.
I would ride the chemical romance for 18-24 months and stay in the honeymoon phase of the relationship and be a serial dater. Man was not meant to be in a monogamous relationship.
That's my thinking at least for now. I reserve the right to change my mind.
Garments will definitely not be a part of any future relationship though. That's for certain.

Wait...marriage or lover? Cause lover, sure. Marriage #$%@ no. No way im ever going down that road again, Mormon or not . Its a trap, pure and simple-i will never be a manservant to a self serving princess again, even if it means im eternally Celibate. Fool me once....Red Ryder wrote: ↑Tue May 01, 2018 12:32 pm I probably wouldn't marry again at all.

It's frustrating to see the last resort in a discussion of facts be: I disregard those facts because of my faith. Why even talk about facts if the last resort is to put faith above all facts that are contrary to your faith?

So funny. I thought it was the new woman Mel met. Getting the facts straight changes the whole conversation.Red Ryder wrote: ↑Tue May 01, 2018 12:29 pmI read it as his soon to be ex-wife was on birth control implying her intent with new lover was to be in a sexual relationship.2bizE wrote: ↑Tue May 01, 2018 11:50 am If I had a do-over it would be an Exmo or never mo for me.

Beware of “rebound relationships”. I’ve seen it so many times - a long term relationship ends, then a person rushes into a poorly considered and unhealthy relationship right away just because they fear being alone.
I’d agree with those who say wait a long time before starting another relationship. You have to figure out who you are outside of a relationship before you can know how to safely get into another one.

C'mon man. Just because a fella wears a toga is no reason to question his/her masculinity!

Well if it means anything to you, I was pretty sure you were a guy. I'm just careful about going with assumptions sans confirmation.

Makes sense. I'm a jerk in real life too, FWIW.
