George Q Cannon's journal project

Post by FiveFingerMnemonic »

Looks like George Q Cannon's Journal project is now out there. It covers the years the church was dissolved by the Edmunds-Tucker act. Should be of interest to the more scholarly among us.

Wow, I've become cynical in the last couple years. Without scans of the source script, I can't help but wonder what/how much has been redacted it modified from the original.

Going to start reading anyway...

They say they have redacted things about the temple ceremony and any names involved with disciplinary actions. I can't help but imagine there is more to that though.

I wonder what kind of disciplinary actions could possibly be sensitive 117 years after his death.
