Too many family members around to stay logged into the forum while watching. I wanted to give RMN +10 for allowing it's ok to have questions and seek answers, but -50 for basically saying we can't ask questions about the gospel or church.

The weird thing is, I'm trying to think of scriptures that support "be more Mormon and you'll get more revelation," but I'm drawing a blank.

I don't think any devout believers would admit to this if you described it specifically, but I think the Moroni promise (Moroni 10:3-5) fits this perfectly. If you don't get the power of the HG telling you it's true, you weren't Mormon enough (not enough faith, real intent, or sincerity in the heart).

Nope. Not one. I thought they might have announced the completion of the Rome temple. But probably not.
