Discussions toward a better understanding of LDS doctrine, history, and culture. Discussion of Christianity, religion, and faith in general is welcome.
Breaking news: Jesus just sold off Mormon Church to Chinese investors. After years of flat growth and 99.9% of population not converted, it was “time to cut my losses” Jesus said. Nelson & Q15 will be forced to resign today. “Joe Bishop doesn’t represent my values. Done with churches for now”
“The easy confidence with which I know another man's religion is folly teaches me to suspect that my own is also.” -Mark Twain
Jesus: "The Kingdom of God is within you." The Buddha: "Be your own light."
This is certainly what it feels like the church has done. I wonder when the church collapses, if chinese investors will swoop in to buy church assets...

A lot of the real estate is in good markets. I am wondering when there would be a decision to sell a church building versus a profitably owned businesses or rent-producing real estate. That sounds like a distinct tipping point in the church.
Funny. I doubt the Chinese wanna have anything to do with the LDS Church, but having a Chinese Apostle may have other reasons behind it.
If I were to guess, a lot of things have more to do with the New World Order than people realize.
