I saw a post on reddit last night about a website detailing a couple dozen instances of the church hiding information from members. I really enjoyed it.

"I would write about life. Every person would be exactly as important as any other. All facts would also be given equal weightiness. Nothing would be left out. Let others bring order to chaos. I would bring chaos to order" - Kurt Vonnegut
Re: Hiding Church History Website
The nice thing about the approach of this website is that they are finding evidence of the church hiding information that is actually documented by the church.
I'm hoping they can come up with some documentation about hiding the magic rock.
I love the magic rock. The magic rock is awesome!

Wasn't there a famous historical quote about being built "lie upon lie" or something like that?
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

I thought I remember a conversation about the stone between Legrand Richards and a reporter showing some aspect of magic rock intentional hiding.wtfluff wrote:The nice thing about the approach of this website is that they are finding evidence of the church hiding information that is actually documented by the church.

The Deseret News interview where Richards say they don't have the magic rock, he's never seen it, and he doesn't think anyone else has either?FiveFingerMnemonic wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 7:25 amI thought I remember a conversation about the stone between Legrand Richards and a reporter showing some aspect of magic rock intentional hiding.
Thoughts On Things And Stuff - The Legrand Richards Interview
I doubt there's any way to know if he was telling "the truth". It is possible he didn't know anything about the magic rock; Which is a bit contradictory to many believer's favorite platitude of: "We've always known about this stuff".

I just read through this link's material. The parts about Oaks and Ballard, especially the Ballard stuff at the end, is frustrating. There are 2 possibilities: 1) the guy is a liar; 2) the guy is completely in the dark himself, and doesn't understand the coverup.Linked wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2018 1:39 pm I saw a post on reddit last night about a website detailing a couple dozen instances of the church hiding information from members. The one thing I know for sure is this: THERE HAS BEEN A COVERUP!
You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free?....yep, free to call bullsh!t and leave, which I have.

Thanks for posting this link.
The author did an excellent job of listing and detailing the evidence.
Facts are difficult things.
