Testifying on the Book of Mormon

Post by Rob4Hope »

Everyone,...I was fascinated to read this article out there:

http://thoughtsonthingsandstuff.com/sol ... of-mormon/

I know that Bill Reel reads some of this guy, and it was some of Reel's podcasts that alerted me to this place.

Now I don't know how accurate this article is on Monson and the Book of Mormon,...but I am interested in seeing/hearing whether President Nelson or other members of the FP "bare testimony" of the BoM. The whole idea is fascinating to me.

Thoughts?

Does this article hold any water?....is this really going on out there?

Personally I think it's a stretch and more of an indication that Monson suffered from dementia for the last 10 years. Besides, his shtick was widows. If he spent his whole church career talking about the BOM and suddenly stops in 2005 then perhaps there could be a conspiracy.

This one falls into the "anti-mormon's scraping the barrel" category for me.

This might have been true for a long time but I believe that the last general conference talk Monson gave was on the BoM... so the orthodox are going to put more weight on that fact. "It was his parting testimony."
