Want to be a mormon celebrity? Casting call

Post by 2bizE »

A casting call was found today on the KSL.com website.
The church is making some new BoM videos. What if a NOM was able to get a part?
What do you think the auditions are like? Do they ask you to bear your testimony?

^^ Except actors reading for the parts of Lamen and Lemuel who must be current members of a Reddit ex-Mormon group.

The proliferation of videos will substantiate evidence for confirmation bias of TBM's.

I wonder if they will ride tapit's or use pack llamas. Maybe their obsidian swords will avoid rust. They should consider involving lots of other tribes that can replace or hide their DNA as well.

Will we be automatically be issued a beard card? Or will we need to plead our case before our bishop? Let me know if any of these words were in the casting call: white, delightsome, dark, loathsome.

Remember when the BOM spoke for itself?

It (allegedly) survived all those years in the ground before being dug up by Joseph Smith and protected as it was translated, then edited numerous times over the years before becoming a collection of videos.

Now it seems to be just another copyrighted intangible asset/product in a vast collection owned by a media company masquerading as a church.

What's next? A new "special" video and PR campaign to release it amongst the Mormons?

Who needs further light and knowledge when we have BOM reruns and remakes?

Hmmm... Perhaps it's time for you to audition so we have new podcast material?

Are you referring to a Temple marriage certificate? ;)
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.
