This image needs some context! BY was referring to the complaining of plural wives, and giving them a chance to divorce without any consequences. That was a really interesting speech, and if you don't already know about it, the quote may not make sense.

I disagree about divorce without consequences. I think it was a threat and the consequences were grave.

Bottom line, you wont see dieter telling women that they are all just a pack of whiners. I wonder how Brigham would have tackled the ordain women movement.

You might be right. I do think the image needs a bit more back story to make sense, regardless.
