But for the first one about agnosticism...why is divorce even a topic? I don't see any context for it either before or after this question. It's like "Oh, you're agnostic...well I would strongly suggest against your divorce plans." WTF? Who said anything about divorce?

I actually like that he encouraged NOT divorcing over agnosticism (if he even knows what agnosticism is. It kind of seems that way; Since his answer has NOTHING to do with the question.)

But... The ending of that "answer" is still plain old fear-mongering...

I agree. This is when a spouse loses their testimony in the divinity of the Q15. The spouse feels eternal life is void and divorce is the solution. This happens too often and to many of us NOMs.

But saying that divorce is not a option doesn't mean they're saying that the disbelieve should be embraced and accepted for their differences. I think it's saying that you shouldn't give up on trying to fix them.

Yes. And that can put a huge strain on the relationship. For the believer they double down on stuff they wouldn't naturally do, and for the non-believer they are dealing with someone who refuses to even attempt to understand them.
