Anyone wanna suffer through the RS broadcast with me, again?

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

Anyone wanna suffer through the RS broadcast with me, again?

TSM is a no show.
And there are a lot of empty seats.

Wow, they introduced the women on the stands. I don't remember them doing that before.

Oh good, It's one of the new leaders. Super gushy about TSM. And we are getting some us vs them mentality. Women of the world vs. women of the church. Selfish vs. Righteous? Really/

Sister Eubank has a nice voice. I think there were a few good points in her talk. Like thinking about problems in a different ight. But it always baffles me when they talk about Christ and the love he had for everyone but then still give a big dose of "don't be like the sinful women of the world."

Sister Merill is going to talk about growing closer to HF. Should be good. Unless she asserts it is though the prophets that we grow close to HF.

MoPag, Thanks for taking one for the team! It's useful to know what some of our spouses are being spoon-fed this fine evening.

Any guesses as to where they are?

Are you going off the crowd at the very beginning of the conference?

Remember, Mormons.

In my ward when sacrament meeting starts there are probably two dozen people in the chapel. 10 minutes into the meeting the chapel and two overflows are nearly full. After the sacrament is passed another few dozen people come in. Mormons are late for things.

A better tell on crowd size would be the pan-over during the intermediary hymn.

Good point.

I was going to guess Cinnabon.

That was a sweet talk. I liked the story about the difficult Sunday school student. And I like how she told about praying to HF and complaining to HF about the relative she got in and argument with. She didn't present herself as some super righteous, instantly forgiving woman. She showed a very human side of herself. I appreciate that

Can you give me a portion of your love for her so I can love her, too?

I can see people taking exception to that statement, but I thought it was nice. She found a way to love, because that's important to her.

I will say, I thought the talk about loving her relative after her relative publicly shaming her and how she found a way to do that, I found uplifting enough, that I would leave after that talk.

Well, so people who are not on track to be likeGod are unworthy/worthless. It's all coming together.

Okay, she asserts that the world will make us feel worthless, but the church constantly shows
us that we are worthless. :?
