I wish...

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

I think that sometimes, but then I probably would never have been born, and I would never have met my wife, my kids would definitely never have been born.

I'd settle for my wife seeing the Church for what it is and leaving it with me. That shouldn't be too much to wish for, right?

I wish the church would grow up and let the members be adults which includes choosing your own underwear. Or no underwear of that is your choice.

Religious underwear? pffffff!

I wish there was a "smoking gun" revealed or that a GA or one of the top 15 confessed it was all made up.

Yes!! One of the Q15 could crack. Or maybe there is a public rift between them and TBMs are forced to take sides. That could be fun.

I wish i could turn back time, redo the last 20 years or so fixing my life.

I wish i could have open honest discussions with friends and family about my hopes dreams and fear without feeling out their level of support on the issue.

I wish people where a bit more vocal in kirtland so nauvoo fell apart.

I wish correlation didnt happen. That our culture still supported free thought.
It's frustrating to see the last resort in a discussion of facts be: I disregard those facts because of my faith. Why even talk about facts if the last resort is to put faith above all facts that are contrary to your faith?

This ^. Only 30 years not 20.
The church has engineered your eternal family into a commodity that can be purchased with an annual fee. The fact that full tithing payment is a requirement for saving ordinances is the biggest red flag imaginable. Hagoth

I'm with Red Ryder let us all be adults and make our own choices. I also wish I had never joined back in 1981 .

I think there is a pretty impressive pile of smoking guns. My wish is that everyone would let their guard down long enough to look at them.

I wish it hadnt taken so long to feel comfortable being in the church but not of the church. Five years of anguished searching for answers to my questions and many heart wrenching discussions with DW. Thank you NOM ward for helping me when no real people were there.

It's Sunday. I wish everyone could enjoy this beautiful forest I am roaming in instead of sitting in a boring old church listening to the same messages over and over and over.

Since my old mission was Canada, I would have to visit sooner than later. Arizona is just starting to be pleasant and I can't trust Canadian weather for the next six months.
