Orgasm suffices for that purpose.

I was never very spiritual, so I didn't lose much when I left the church. The most spiritual experience in my life occurred while under the influence of shrooms. Wish I could go back to that without the shrooms, but I have had lesser spiritual experiences out in nature.

To the extent that anyone can find an abstract concept, one can find spirituality. Sometimes when it is missing it can be found hiding in the corner along with happiness, the TV remote, and a couple of lint balls.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

Definitely filled that gap with Nature, sometimes enhanced with herbal supplements. Escaping the COB has significantly enhanced my experiences out in the wild outdoors. I've had more time to explore to get into landscape and astro photography. My exploration into the sciences and nature has also been enhanced without all the Mormon philosophies getting in the way. I've had much deeper and more satisfying metaphysical experiences than I'd ever experienced in the correlated religious institutions. Seeing the eclipse totality was the most recent awesome experience I had. I can also find Zen moments in my own front yard, just watching the pollinators working the flowers. At first there was a gap, but it quickly went away once I was able to realize a greater measure of my creation...evolution...cosmic roll of the galactic dice, whatever you want call it.

This quite by Neil deGrasse Tyson works for me:
