It's been so long ...

We're attending a 50yr bday party for an old friend. It's being held at their church.
Our 3 yr daughter is the only one with exposed shoulders. There are several tots, kids, tweens and teens. She's the only one.
Also. Lots of Capri's and long denim pants. It's still 100deg in Phoenix.

You are a shadow of your former self. Like one of tolkein's ringwraiths. Your grasp on the Mormon world fades with each passing day. Pretty soon people will recoil in horror at your twisted and dark visage.

Wait a minute here. Didn't you just meet with your SP like last week? In an LDS meeting house?
My mind hasn't been present in an LDS Chapel for 13 years now. Does that count?

I prefer to think of it as falling to the dark side and joining the Sith, although your description is rock awesome.

That does not count. Nobody's mind has been present in our chapels for a good 150 years.

It's been more than 2 years for me.
I live in a big enough city with a small enough Mormon population that I almost never see the LDS building. This summer, though, I had to drive by it every day on my way to my externship site. It felt a little cathartic.

Very true, I was in one a few weeks ago. I don't recall using my phone at all for that meeting.
