Anyone here going to Loveloud concert?

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

Anyone here going to Loveloud concert?

Post by 2bizE »

I have been thinking of getting tickets to the event. I'm not much of a music but, but I have listened to some Imagine Dragons songs.

We almost got tickets but alas, I am 2BizE!

I really want to go but we have 3 other things going on that weekend and we live a few hours away.

On a very positive note: the church says it is okay to go and they hope it is well attended.

This gives me hope.

This gives me hope.
The comments suggest otherwise.

I'm putting the conspiracy hat on here. Obviously I don't believe this, but...

The church puts out a statement of "support".
Mormon LGBTQ advocates decide to attend.
The church owns a small airplane.
They outfit such airplane with an IMSI catcher.

Then fly over the event and capture the cell phone subscriber's info from the SIM card.
Instantly creating a list of members they can then punish for advocating and associating with our gay brothers and sisters.

If you decide to go leave your cell phone at home.

DW to me earlier this week: "Hey, Imagine Dragons is doing a concert in Utah this month. Should we go?"

Me, not knowing anything about the LoveLoud Festival, I said maybe. Now I'm really thinking about going.

My son is. I'm prone to hearing loss. I stay away from concerts as a general rule.
