What religions or religious doctrine originated from a solar eclipse?
Can you imagine many years ago seeing a solar eclipse, not knowing what it was and when it would occur? It must be the gods doing something strange. Perhaps there was an eclipse at the death of Christ...

I don't know if it originated, but Pagans certainly think eclipses are significant.
