June 27- on this date...

Post by crossmyheart »

I don't get on Facebook that often these days. Just came across this post from the RS Prez in my ward-

"On this date 173 years ago, Joseph Smith was assassinated. My father, a church history fan always took a moment of silence for Joseph Smith on this day, so on this day, I always try to remember Joseph Smith as well, and remember my father and his great love for the church and it's interesting history."

I am actually surprised she didn't testify of her love and admiration for JS and the truthfulness of the gospel. I know for sure there is no chance she is NOM because I have been too upfront with her about my non-belief.

That is interesting that she didn't use that as a platform to gush about JS. I saw plenty of that on FB on the 27th. She even said "interesting history." Maybe she is in the beginning phases of a faith transition. Keep and eye on her and keep us updated. :)

I wonder how many wives JS would have acquired had he not been assassinated?

Each successive wife increases the chance of being assassinated by one of the wives. He was just moving the inevitable forward.
