It's nice. Something every father could do whether or not it revolves around Personal Progress.
Reading can severely damage your ignorance.

Wow.

This IS nice. A father could truly have a powerful, positive influence if he carved out time for & showed genuine interest in his girls. I cannot imagine growing up with a Dad who cared more about my thoughts, feelings, and (non-churchy) activities than he cared about the length of my shorts, my attitude during 6 am family scripture study, or the age that I married & started having babies.

What a great story! These girls are lucky to have a father who shows he cares and more importantly listens.

That is really terrific. I especially liked his follow up questions, that he knew to ask them and what he learned from them.

I read most of the article. I liked how he fulfilled his role as father. Regardless of church, he was committed to improving the lives of his children.

I hope to be a better father to my 5 daughters than putting restrictions and expectations on them.

I think 30 minutes a week of one on one time discussing their lives and being in the moment with them will go a long way. I would not want to waste it checking boxes with them. The topics could be helpful as conversation starters at times I suppose.

I love reading good booka with them and talkimg openly about grown up topics or whatever is important to them at the time. It is hard to make time for it all though.
