My instinct here might be to simply say yes, since I don't think modern Mormonism is any more or less valid than what it attempted to restore. "The Gospel" is vague enough that the only way I can really frame it is as "The Gospel as I know it." Which seems to make my answer to this affirmative because I learned of these concepts through the modern LDS church and don't see any compelling reason to favor other interpretations.
