Does Satan tempt the General Authorities?

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

Somewhat off topic:
The Great Stan never had the veil of forgetfulness that we all received at birth.
The GAs were all pre-ordained & anointed to be Nobel and Great Ones during the pre-existence, all in full view of The Great Stan.
The Great Stan controls the waters.
Why didn't The Great Stan drown all the prophets & apostles before they could grow up?

Back on topic: As for the temptation, they have access to all the money they could ever use. They may not have all the ladies right now but they know they'll have the pick of the litter in just a few short years so maybe they're just waiting for that. They simply view porn for the research aspect, they need to know what they're up against....because they certainly aren't tempted by the boobies or buns.

Elder Packer is tired from a long travel schedule, endless church meetings, and the drowsy effects of scripture reading. Elder Oaks interrupts and wonders if Donny Osmond is gay. Elder Gong chides him for not paying attention and resorts to starting the power point slide deck and presentation again from the beginning. He politely reminds them they have $13 Billion dollars to allocate among the 27 portfolios of the church.

Wouldn't this be a perfect moment for Satan to tempt the 15 Apostles to invest in real estate, malls, and hunting preserves? Elder Bednar, interrupting his own day dream of removing Sister Bednar's garments, stands and raises his right hand commanding Satan to depart. He forcefully tells Satan, we've already come up with that idea on our own! That will never be a weakness you could exploit!
This sounds like something from MormonLeaks. At this point, Elder Gong should pack them all into the Huntsman Corporate Jet and take them all beach combing near the scenic Tahiti Temple in order to unwind and get their minds back on derivative swaps and investments.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

Maybe he did. That would explain how we ended up with the leaders that we have today.
