Book of Mormon Musical

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

I just got tickets to the Book of Mormon musical in SLC! Should be a good time.

Now you have to report back on how you like it :) I read the script somewhere a while ago out of curiosity. Not sure I would enjoy it but who knows, I might find it to be hilarious now. I did hear one of the songs on the radio once and didn't realize it was from the musical... It blew my mind to think they would joke about what was in the song(missionary work it think) but thought it was so true! haha

My DW wants to go with my ex-mo best friend and his wife. Could be interesting.

I've seen a 20 minute clip of it and didn't care for what I saw. I just thought it was dull and lacked humor. Lots of people like it though.

I will definitely report back. I have listened to all the songs and know the basic story and it sounds like my cup o' tea.

As a TBM I think I would have been appalled to see this musical. I am not one that loves seeing any religion mocked. However, I have heard TBM's say they loved it. So I am anxious now to see it with Kori in August.
