I must not be worthy, I'm not seeing jack diddly squat with my spiritual eyes, what must I do to become worthy?Korihor wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2017 3:14 pmLimited to spiritual eyes only.
Re: Voting Opposed
I had spoke about voting opposed to DW (TBM, mostly)
DW is still processing my outlook on the church and did not want me to vote opposed, but understood why.
Having the support of DW is more important than making a point.
So at Stake Conf on Sunday I did not vote to sustain the 12, although I did not vote opposed.
DW still shed a tear - not in shame or anger, or pity, but more at the uncertainty and loss of what we both used to hold special. I get that. She's a fantastic person.
So not quite as balls to the wall as Korihor, but I found it very difficult to sustain what I see as not enough transparency and respect for free agency.

At the halfway home. I'm a full-grown man. But I'm not afraid to cry.

Accommodating the concerns of your spouse is waaaaay more important than expressing disdain at some religion. Good for you. If the opportunity is right, do it. If not, who cares?redjay wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2017 2:34 am Having the support of DW is more important than making a point.

I disagree with "balls to the wall", but am flattered. Just like Facebook, the pics and stories sound awesome but reality is much less interesting. I simply feel fortunate to be able to do it with Mrs Kori. It has been much less uneventful than I feared it would be.
Reading can severely damage your ignorance.

The eyes of my understanding were opened and I saw it! Good for you. You both looked good.Korihor wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2017 3:14 pmLimited to spiritual eyes only.
