ML4N

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

ML4N

Post by Red Ryder »

NOM has been a wonderful community and support group for many of us over the years as we transition our faith and struggle to find normalcy. Many of us have been through difficult situations, emotional distress, and have lost loved ones. In years past, NOM has had a tradition to celebrate and remember the life of one of our long time poster's son, Neal.

ML4N stands for "Mocha Latte for Neal". It's our way of showing support for each other in tough times.

If you're a fellow coffee drinker, have a Mocha Latta this week in memory of Neal and take a moment to hug your kids and pay it forward. If you're not a coffee drinker, have one anyway and buy the person in line behind you one!

I hope this is still appropriate and you're doing well!

{{{Hugs from your NOM friends!}}}

RR - Thanks amigo for reminding me of this.

To you Neal, and to your mom, as I sip my mocha latte and I write this post.

I'm glad you remembered the date, because I certainly didn't. Here's to Neal and his dear mother.

I guess I have been participating in coffee for about a year since last year this celebration was among my first "hot drinks" ordered publicly.

Today I honor your memory as I partake again!

Thank you Red, for remembering and posting this. It's appropriate and much appreciated. Knowing Neal is remembered and hearing other people say his name . . . it's hard to explain, but it's really precious to me.

I listened to Bittersweet (Thank you Hermey).

Thank all of you.

Thanks for the reminder RR. On my way to have a latte in a few minutes. In solidarity.

Remembering you and Neal... I will have a mocha latte in his honor as well.

Even if it's something disappointing, it's still better to know the truth. Because people can deal with disappointment. And once they've done that, they can feel that they have really grown. And that can be such a good feeling. -Fred Rogers
