Re: What’s your work situation?
Just checking y'all, haven't visited in a while. I had hoped Nevada would not be as hysterical as the rest of the country. Still no toilet paper here either. I'm in the Reno Carson area though, so maybe the rural areas are faring better. The governor has mandated telework for all state workers and ...

Hey Fletch I don't post much anymore but happened to see your post. Welcome. And I think many of us understand what you're going through. Ask all the questions you want here. We love kicking this same dog. I'm glad you resonate with the openness of the conversation here. My advice is to mimic this ...

Re: Now we may NEVER get to know the shape of the earth!
YESSSS! I saw his documentary on Netflix/Hulu/wherever. 1) Super sad he passed away. The death of a human soul should be treated with dignity and respect 2) That being said, holy spaceballs, this guy!!!! I can't be he lived as long as he did. If you watch the documentary, the only reason he survived ...

Re: Changes For Temple Ceremonial Clothing Announced
I really like the mannequins showing the various temple ritual performance accessories in an attempt to make them look as normal as possible. The connecting thread on the cap is barely visible behind the head. The women's veils look more like a bridal headress assemble. I give LD$ a little credit ...

Re: Changes For Temple Ceremonial Clothing Announced
Granted I'm not a weekly temple-goer but has anyone out there had issues with the temple robes wearing out? Ironically I'm more likely to buy new robes due to changes in the temple ordinance than I am to buy new robes because they wore out on me.  Okay so it looks like we ladies still ...

why do they need that large of a Nest Egg? Who knows? I know I'm trying to build my Nest Egg as large as possible. Admittedly, mine is missing 2 or 3 zeros in comparison. It's frustrating - and what can be done about it? Not much, at least not quickly. ExMo/Nom/Disaffected/Distant/JackMo/etc ...

Observation #4: You have to be twice as good as an exmormon as you were as a believer to be respected half as much This depends on whose respect you're seeking. Seek to respect yourself first. $%# the rest. Once you're out regarding your apostasy, you'll like be surprised how many people you ...

Re: Observation #3: The Church is Alive and Well
Only one of my kids went to church last Sunday. I know several families in our area who are all out. We're having an apostate ornament and cookie exchange this coming Sunday :D . Sometimes I wonder if I had someone to chill with on a regular basis IRL, if it would be easier to let go of some of the ...

A 'church' that owns a school that also owns an insurance company and requires students to purchase church insurance to attend church school and won't accept government-funded health insurance - while simultaneously the parents of these students have an inherent distrust of the government.

Thank you all for the concern. I don't know what to say. If any of you looked up F.I.R.E.S. - its rather horrible. Living it is much worse. You can follow her facebook group/blog if you want. https://m.facebook.com/groups/2066428796791439 I'm devastated, yet grateful to still have her. This weekend ...

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
