I am truly shocked by how many members gravitated to and supported that wicked man.

And both parents and students pay the church ten percent of their income. The church has all the angles covered. Which is what you would expect from an organization that is top heavy with lawyers.

I have lost most of the respect I once held for the top church leaders (Q15). I have come to the conclusion that most of them are not completely honest. This is an opinion I usually keep to myself, especially when I am around family and other TBMS.

It is looking like this is not going to end well for the church.

My four adult children were out before DW and I left. From what I can tell from neighbours and friends, about half of their children are inactive or have left. I live in South Utah County.

From my vantage point, the crowd was very supportive. There was a spectrum of support: Young people, families with strollers, couples, older people (my catagory). My take away from the whole expreience was to be who you reall are. It was really cool.
