Re: Election day
Election day (month) has always made me grateful I moved to Oregon and out of the Morcor. This year was no exception. And I love that "mail in voting." Oregon does it right. There really is no "election day" in Oregon. You get your ballot two two weeks before the deadline, watch the game and sit by ...

Re: What are you watching right now?
I have a hard time watching current TV. Most of the shows are episodic. I much prefer the older format of stand alone episodes. Maybe an overall general trajectory but independent episodes,... Yeah. I've been binge watching the original Hawaii 5-0 series. Great stuff. Fun to watch. Jack Lord is a ...

Re: What are you drinking right now?
PBR. Yes. You heard that right. Pabst Blue Ribbon. Out of the can. My god what have I become? I got a heads up about a Rosebud thread on MD so I logged into the mormon underground to see what the hullabub was all about. Been awhile since I have visited the boards and decided to check over here and ...

Re: Can someone catch me up please?
Hey Fellers. Hagoth and Oliver etc etc... Yes I still brew my own beer and enjoy it very much and will gladly meet any of you in Bend Oregon, or any place in Oregon, for a brew if you're in this area. I kind of left NOM mentality when they kicked out the emu, what was his name? Damn. I feel kind of ...

Re: Can someone catch me up please?
Well, I found my avatar from the old days. Doesn't really apply to me now as it did then. I'll work on an current intro. Thanks for the update. How long has the board been back alive? I'll reach out to Chad or give him a call. I've not seen him for about a year but I need to fix that soon. Hey ...

Re: What are you drinking right now?
I just got back tonight from the Hillsboro Brewfest where I was helping out setting up and being an alcohol monitor in between bouts of drinking... I was able to sample 31 different new beers. Some really good stuff and some really good ciders which I'm usually not a fan of but damn they had some ...

Re: What are you drinking right now?
Hey Fellers. Glad to see you guys keeping this thread alive. Well I just spent three weeks of July in Austria and Germany drinking beer. I was able to find and drink 72 different beers. None of them are worth really getting excited about unfortunately. Ok regional lagers and kolschs, but just okay ...

Hey.
I kind of miss old NOM.
But, I do seem to be a little more productive and get a lot more s*** done now that I'm not over here visiting with all you a holes all day and night. Good times.

Re: What is the key to happiness?
To answer the question though, I think Montainge said it best, “To philosophize is to learn to die”? The joy of living, or the key to happiness, is to love life and enjoy it to its climax. Live every day like it's your last, and don't expect an afterlife to make up for lost time because there pro ...

Re: Moderators, hosting, and other admin
Good luck y'all. I shared a few of my ideas over in the loud angry ditch we were in for a while. Shared some publicly and some privately. I think this is going to be a good and fun and creative adventure. Mayan Elephant, I love your avatar. I'll pick you up after the Oregon State game to go home ...

Re: Zadok's Mission Report
We have left Eugene, and are now in Brookings, just north of the Oregon/California line on the coast. We expect to be here at least a week, maybe longer. Cwald, I am on the wrong side of the mountains to visit you this time, but will be checking on your brewing progress next time we come this way ...
